Girl,
was a shy petite young woman…
too innocent about life…
advanced an english subject on a senior class…
saw a TALL DARK CHUBBY GUY who was so confident of Himself…
often talks to the girl’s friend…
Guy asked for her friend’s number… then asked for her’s next…
noon on that day… She received an unknown no. txt message…
they started a conversation…
told her friend about it the next day…
the Guy never really texted her friend…
fell in love with the guy…
friends didn’t liked him for her…
friends tell her “You are far too pretty to deserve him”…
flattering as it must have been, She was blind…
thought that He was the one…
went out with him…
did crazy things with him, weird as it must have been…
thought it was just right…
Guy told him about the sugar, spice and everything nice…
She believed him… as any 17 year old would when they’re blinded…
it never became them… claiming it was just an exclusive date…
never talked when known people are around…
didn’t want others to know…
Professor announced a play on that english class…
it was a Wednesday, the group made props…
Girl noticed Boy…
Boy,
was neither tall nor short…
chubby that can also be blamed for his large built body…
had a manly face, paired with a nice set of beard that fits him just right…
smile was a way to describe him because he was always smiling with his sharp teeth showing…
Boy teases Girl even though they weren’t really close particularly with each other…
Boy felt hot and was perspiring…
Girl catches a sight of the Boy taking his long sleeves off…
Girl, found him stunning with just a plain white shirt on…
She didn’t gave much attention though coz’ she already had someone in her heart…
And it’s the GUY….
Guy often tells the Girl how busy he is and didn’t have enough money for a prepaid…
She often gets sad… yet understands him…
felt confused… and can’t give her whole self to the Guy… luckily!
She told Him, “I cannot give my whole self to someone I am not sure of.”
He asked her, “So, are you saying you’re still not sure of me?”
She told him sadly, “Yes, I’m still not”…
(Even though She loved the guy, He didn’t feel that much from Him but She still wished that if only He could love her and show her more… She would have given everything… All She wanted was the Guy to love him and make Her feel no regret when She makes the choice)
after that, no news got to her…
Girl never tried to reach for the Guy…
weeks passed…
Guy tells the Girl, “I fell in love with my bestfriend”…
Girl was shocked…
suppressed her angry feeling and wished him good luck…
Cried relentlessly… after all, it was so much pain…
contemplated on her rights… She didn’t have the right to be mad…
It was never them…
Two weeks passed...
Guy, texted her again…
Tells her that he is not in love anymore with his bestfriend…
He tells her they were just drunk…
Girl tries to make it work out again…
events doesn’t seem to match…
they became busy with their works…
Guy never even reached out for Girl…
After everything were through…
Girl texted the Guy and asked “How are you?”
Guy said, “ I’m not fine everything’s messed up”…
Girl said, “I know you can do it…”
Guy said, “I didn’t contacted you because I’m still mortified on you”…
Girl tells him, “It’s ok now, everything has ended now”…
Months had passed…
Girl lived life normally….
Celebrated her 18th birthday with family and friends…
She’s in her 3rd year now…
She went to class, studied and did as any typical college student would do…
Then August came,
Girl sees Boy…
She was bored and just wanted to do something crazy…
Girl went to the effort of getting his number from friends…
She was nervous the first time She sent him a message…
Boy replied… and asked her how he got his no.
Girl, of course lied and said, “I just needed to ask you something about the assignment my friend was asking but they’re too shy to ask you so since we already know each other, I volunteered”…
after about 3 replies….
Boy says, “Hey, I still have class… I’ll text you later…”
Girl, anticipated his text ‘til evening…
Boy didn’t break his words and really texted… And they sent messages a couple of times then soon called it a night…
The next day, and the following day… there were no messages…
Girl was sad… and found herself liking the Boy…
Still, She didn’t want him to feel that She was obsessed with him…
So, Girl kept quiet…
The next day, Boy texted the Girl and embarrassing as it may be…
Boy found out about the Girl’s scheme…
She was really so shy with what she did…
Eventually, that was the start of the day they eventually started talking permanently with each other…
Boy would text her everyday…
And they talked a lot until…
Boy finally opened up things to her….
He told him about his girlfriend who died of viral encephalitis…
5 weeks in comatose and how He loved her and visits her everyday…
He was messed up after her death…
Then, courted someone after 3 months while still confused…
And that someone became her girlfriend eventually…
Boy found her incompatible with him… and only lasted for a month…
He then promised on the grave of his deceased girlfriend that he would not enter a relationship until he graduates…
Girl found herself connected to him…
And their form of communication became much deeper…
And deeper…
Surprisingly, they are falling in love with each other…
Yet they are suppressing it because of His promise…
Girl made him some refrigerated cake…
And gave it to him before getting to class…
Boy was really astonished about the Girl’s effort…
Amazingly Girl’s professor was not around…
Boy took his chance and asked Girl out for dinner…
They ate at Mang Inasal…
Girl sat not beside Boy but instead in front of him…
They talked a lot of things…
Soon, Boy confessed to girl that he likes her…
Girl didn’t make a hard loop out of that issue and told Boy the same….
Each day passed, they learn to love each other more…
The effort He gives her from the dinners, to the stopping by at Girl’s classroom whenever he needs to go home earlier than her…
Everything She never experienced before…
Surprised to realized that, “I should have just waited for the right man to come along, maybe I could’ve prevented myself from being hurt, A guy this devoted and great really does exist”…
